One of our village food stores in Nottinghamshire where colleagues have been going above and beyond to support locals during these uncertain times has been given a fresh new look following an investment of £86,000.
The Central England Co-op in Bramcote Lane, Wollaton has received a raft of updates to give it a fresher feel and a number of new ranges and features to boost its offering to the local community.
This follows the store’s colleagues working around the clock to ensure people across the community have continued to have access to vital food and essentials throughout the Coronavirus pandemic.
The refreshed store front includes brand new external signage to give it a more modern, fresher look.
To celebrate the store is offering customers the opportunity to grab a free Costa coffee when they register online, until Saturday, 15 August.
The community food store has been undergoing a makeover in recent weeks with changes including:
. New external fascia
. An updated product range to better reflect customers’ requirements including a new Mediterranean range and new hot ‘food to go’ section
. New internal signage and decoration
. Refreshed kiosk area
Bramcote Lane Store Manager Pete Brennan said: “We are really happy with the changes to the store which have provided a fresher look and some great new features to offer our customers and Members.
“I would like to thank our customers and Members for their patience while the work has been taking place and we have already received some great feedback about the changes.
“It has also really given the team a well-deserved boost after they have worked tirelessly over the last few months to support the community.”
The Bramcote Lane Food Store is open every day 7am-10pm.
The store has a wide range of products from everyday necessities to something a little more special and also offers a free cash machine, Collect Plus/Paypoint, car park, Lottery and an instore bakery, as well as a lifesaving defibrillator.
