Frontline NHS workers and children handed vital boost by funeral home team

Colleagues from Corby Funeral Home linked up with the Intensive Care Unit at Kettering General Hospital to donate vital care products due to a shortage.

Shirley Nimmo, Funeral Director, and Sam Fraser, Funeral Service Assistant, visited the hospital to offer a helping hand after learning that the vital unit was really short of personal care products like shampoo and shower gel.

The team has also collected and donated a selection of toys to the Children’s Ward at the hospital. Shirley visited with Funeral Services Assistant Teal Aldwinckle to deliver the gifts, which also included generous donations by local people also.
