Central England Co-op Funeralcare is opening the doors of its floral shops to the public for the first time since the beginning of lockdown.
Our professional florists have been working behind closed doors focusing on funeral flowers creating special arrangements to enable families to say goodbye, while shops have remained closed following Government guidance.
However, we are now in a position to reopen our front of house operations to the public from Monday (17 August) and are therefore reopening our florist shops on reduced hours in Great Barr, Kingstanding and Stafford (opening hours Monday – Friday 10am-3pm, Saturday 9am-3pm), as well as in Stirchley, Droitwich and Kettering (Monday – Friday 10am-3pm).
To ensure everyone involved stays safe and healthy, anyone visiting one of our florist shops will be asked to wear a face covering, adhere to social distancing guidelines and make use of hand sanitiser. All colleagues will be wearing face coverings.
Meanwhile, following the easing of the local lockdown in Leicester, Rowlatts Hill florists in the city can once again take phone orders for funeral arrangements.
Florist Sue Carty said: “We really enjoy what we do and love being able to come up with wonderful creations to help honour the life of a loved one.
“However, we have missed welcoming the public into our shops and to help with a wide range of arrangements to suit their needs so are happy to be able to open our doors again.
“We look forward to seeing our communities in store again and appreciate their support as we introduce measures to keep colleagues and customers safe, including wearing a face covering when they visit us.”
